Those of you who knew about my nightmare prior to starting hydroxychloroquine, are not gonna believe this! I've got the start of a rash again! The back of my hands have been a bit itchy and I've got a few areas on my hands and arms that have come up in a rash...

Luckily I still have a spare tube of the cream I used previously so fingers crossed its just the prurigo nodularis that has just flared up again and NOT the meds!

Well i have a rash as well .
have had a loveley red face with spots .
the Arthritis is causeing P.A so have that as well
my face is better as i have the commatiey nurse sorts me out big time as she has the time
i am strioed treatment for face its back to pink


Funny funny the skin people at the hospital rang this morning i have been trying to get in private
and trying to change appoments
In A firm voice a lady said now we are cancelling your appoment as you where not refured by a doctor .
you need to be re refured .Applys to some people on list .They have a black log to clear and piles of work .
Ha ha Well i said don,t you dare .I am seeing the nurse this pm for my skin and i need a double app
with the skin and the R.A people and aother to see Dr Dootson about some nasty bits .Which Sara is not sure about .Sara the nurse is or was writing but its not on notes yet .Heanse the phone call saying one thing and me the other .

but it should not go haywire as Sara the nurse will sort it ohh so she said .
i have ance roseasa redness of the normal sort roseasa dermitis and a fungle thing on my face called something or other .And i am breaking out in psoriasis ( on a treatment for it ) And i don,t need an appoment arhhhh .

i need an extra mtx well thats what we think .That will happen in Feb hopfully both apps
its not in my favor to have the app now as too see if something works or break out but Feb would be the right time to see someone about the mtx and skin .i Also have an app on the 31st with the hospital skin people which hope no ones messed with .

This is the worrying thing.... they didn't want to start me on the hydroxychloroquine until the previous rash had gone because one of the side effects is a rash. Once they'd diagnosed and treated it, it got better quite quickly. Now a rash has appeared again I'm wondering if its the previous one or the meds.

Shall soon see as I'm bathing in the cream

Hope you can get the rash cleared up soon, it is such a worry when you can't figure out the cause.
